Hey, AC! Last night's Fall Concert was, in the words of our esteemed conductor, "a resounding success!" Thank you to all who made the concert possible. The post-concert Banquet was wonderful as well. I know I speak for the Board when I say it's the positivity and energy AC members bring that make events like Banquet a success. Rock on, AC! Before we all say goodbye and get bogged down with finals, there are a few more things to wrap up this semester... Final Meetings We have two more meetings this semester: Tomorrow, Thursday, November 15th we will meet from 4-6 in AUD 4 as usual. This meeting is mandatory! The meeting after our concert is always one of my favorites. We'll hear from Ben, have a post-concert debrief, and reflect on the semester and how far we've come. There's also the time honored tradition of pitting all the songs from our repertoire against each other in a March Madness style bracket! Reminders: Bring your music and black folder so they can be returned. Board Elections! Thursday, November 30th we will hold elections for Arts Chorale's Executive Board. A nomination form will be sent out soon; anyone who has been in AC for 1 semester is eligible to be a board member. Nominate yourself, your friends, and anyone who you think would be a good fit!

Our Fall Concert will be on November 14th at 8pm in Stamps Auditorium.
The concert is completely free and open to the public. For Arts Chorale Members: be in the auditorium, completely warmed up and ready to sing by 5:30 for the dress rehearsal. After the concert: We will have a banquet at 9:30 at the Original Cottage Inn. Please read the weekly email for more information, and be sure to fill out all relevant forms. Keep practicing! Rock on, AC! Happy Monday, AC! Firstly, thank you to everyone who went apple picking this weekend. We had a blast! To access photos from the event, check GroupMe for the Google Drive link. Fall Semester Retreat October 8, 12-5pm in The Britton Recital Hall, Moore Building The next upcoming event is our Fall Semester Retreat! Retreat is an important mandatory event where we will learn the majority of our music for the concert. Worried about getting there? AC members will meet at the CCTC to take the bus to North Campus and walk to the Recital Hall together. Make sure you leave with enough time to be around 5-10 minutes early so we can start rehearsing at 12. Retreat is also the last day that new members can join Arts Chorale. Members who bring a friend before retreat will be entered into a drawing for AC merch! Dues are due by Retreat. Dues MUST be paid to John by this date. If dues are an issue, reach out to John about the AC Scholarship. Learn more about the scholarship below. Hey, AC!
We are going apple picking this Saturday, September 30th at Wasem Fruit Farm. Join us for a fun fall activity to kickstart spooky season! Get ready to pick apples, drink cider, and eat donuts! We will be meeting at The Michigan League circle drive at noon to carpool to the farm. Thank you to those AC members who have volunteered to drive. See you then, AC!
